Welcome to Hutt Valley GymSports

Hutt Valley GymSports is a club for gymnasts from the Wellington region. Our programmes suit gymnasts of all ages and abilities – from pre-schoolers and recreational gymnasts to national and international competitors.

Gymnastics is a great way to build fitness, agility and co-ordination, strength, flexibility and self-discipline. It's also social and a lot of fun.

TERM 2, 2012

Welcome to all returning gymnasts. We hope you had a great break, and it's really good to see you back.

And an extra-special welcome to those new to the club. If you need to know anything about the club and its programmes, please ask your coach, or talk to Zara Struthers, our centre manager.

Term 2 classes started in the week beginning 23 April.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to all our gymnasts who represented Wellington province at the New Zealand 2011 National GymSports Championships held in Timaru, 3-7 November. Well done!

GYM FOR ALL

These classes are for school-aged children who wish to begin or to continue to develop their gymnastic skills. In these classes we teach a progressive badge program which is aimed to develop strength flexibility and coordination but ultimately to be fun.

PLAYGYM

These classes are for pre-school aged children. In these classes fun is a main priority, but the class will teach children fundamental skills to build confidence and coordination.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Did you know that our facility is available for birthday parties on Sundays?

Birthday parties run for two hours and the club provides coaches to lead the children in gymnastics games and activities.

These sessions are always popular; please enquire at the office for prices and bookings.
